Patient Prescription Assistance

The following information is provided to our patients in an effort to help any who might be experiencing financial difficulty securing their much needed medications. Sometimes this can be a personal or family financial condition, sometimes it can be a Medicare patient suffering from falling in what has become to be known as "the Donut Hole."

In any case, most, if not all, pharmaceutical companies offer some kind of assistance to help patients in need. Usually some verifiable form of the patient's financial need is required.

Typically, each entity handles their program individually, and terms and requirements differ. However, there is an industry association that aggregates some of these programs, and is an umbella association to help patients. It is called the Partnership for Prescription Assistance.

Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA)
888-477-2669
The PPA is an excellent starting point for any patient.

Patients should also investigate the Together Rx Access Card
800-444-4106
This is a tremendous resource serving millions of patients.

There is also a program called Rx Outreach
800-769-3880
This is not free, but does offer greatly discounted pricing for the needy.

NeedyMeds
The NeedyMeds drug discount card could save you up to 80% off the cost of prescription medications.
